Born in Turin, he is an author and cartoonist, and started in 1977 by publishing caricatures on Il nostro tempo. In 1978 he created Lockness, his most beloved character. He collaborates with the publishing houses of Paravia, Elledici and Paoline, but also Ferrero, Mattel Toys and Fischer Price. In 1983 he joined the Ettigraffio cooperative. His comics are published in Dolly, Corriere dei Piccoli and Dodo. In 1988 he founded Studio 901 and, in 1994, Anonima Fumetti with G. Goria. In 1995 he created the publishing house Vittorio Pavesio Productions. In 1998 he opened the Libreria 901 Comics Resort. Since 1994 he has been organizing the comics fair Torino Comics, of which he is co-founder and artistic director. In 2004, in France, he founded Pavesio Editions. Since 2007 he has been the artistic director of the Turin branch of the International School of Comics. Bookomics, in Turin, and Cartoonia, in Asti. In 2012, for a project dedicated to the world of comics, he opens \u201cSteamboat l\u2019aeronave del fantastico\u201d.
